ARIEL PAGE

With over 16 years of experience, I created Meadowsweet as a way to synthesize my work in ecological restoration, edible forest gardening, and naturalistic garden design. This work is rooted in a deep affection for our living earth, and in a longing to participate in the beauty and survival of this planet.

I specialize in holistic tree care, edible and medicinal plants, climate change adaptation, and habitat enhancement using low-input, sustainable techniques. My goal is to support you in care-taking your land, no matter how large or small your plot may be. I am honored to work with clients across the greater Puget Sound and Olympic Mountain regions, with special focus on the Quilcene, Chimacum, and Port Townsend areas.

In addition to my practice here at Meadowsweet, I dabble in beekeeping, mushroom cultivation, and seed keeping. I have lectured on edible forest gardening and cultural ecosystems in the US, Japan, and Korea.

“There is a cultural dimension of biodiversity that exists, and it’s a synergy between humans and plants. So when we as humans begin to tune our hearts and our minds back towards these relationships with food and seed and land, that spectrum of diversity will return again.” -Rowen White
